About Michael Cain

Born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Michael Cain moved to Minneapolis in 1998 to attend the University of Minnesota and William Mitchell College of Law. After graduation from William Mitchell College of Law, he began his legal career at the Neighborhood Justice Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

During the two years Michael spent at the Neighborhood Justice Center, he was able to gain considerable practical legal and Criminal Defense experience. He spent virtually everyday in the courtroom, representing over 200 criminal defendants in two years. Michael successfully tried cases in Ramsey, Hennepin, and Anoka counties. The cases ranged from minor traffic violations to serious felonies.

After leaving the Neighborhood Justice Center, Michael decided to expand on his insurance background and learn Personal Injury law at a firm in Stillwater, Minnesota. There, he learned largely through experience as the lead litigation associate, communication is the key to effective, efficient representation.

Michael Cain’s practice focuses on Criminal Defense and Civil LItigation and Personal Injury. He is qualified to meet your legal needs with capable, effective, and affordable representation. His practice reaches all four corners of the metro area, bringing with it experience and dependability.

Michael’s philosophy of interest-based representation provides the path to better results. First and foremost, he will take the time to learn what is most important to you. Your interests will be prioritized and your specific legal situation will be handled accordingly.
